4/14 Movement

In partnership with the 4/14 Academy, Limpopo Christian College Vocational School will award up to 77 credits* for prior learning to our Christian Leadership Occupational Certificate to 4/14 Academy learners who successfully complete specified 4/14 Academy courses and collections. This is equivalent to roughly one-third of the certificate, which means a 30% reduction in our certificate’s tuition costs.

Through the 4/14 Academy LCC-VS Academic Credit Program, learners will grow as ministry leaders by taking free courses on the 4/14 Academy:

Understanding the need, urgency, and biblical command for teaching God’s word to children and youth.

Building integral skills necessary to develop, lead, guide, and support their ministries for the flourishing of children and youth in the 21st century.
3
Identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for growth within their own ministries.
4
Identifying practical next steps to apply what they are learning in their coursework into their ministries.

Learners may earn up to 77 occupational learning credits from LCC Vocational School by completing:

  • Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the Next Gen Ministry Program within the 4/14 Academy
  • A culminating practicum experience

The 4/14 Academy LCC-VS Credit Program is based upon successful completion of the levels outlined below:

Next Gen Ministry Essentials/Context for Ministry

Next Gen Ministry Essentials/Context for Ministry include:

  • Children’s Ministry Essentials
  • Youth Ministry Essentials
  • Family Ministry
Level 3
Next Gen Advanced Topics - Leadership

Next Gen Advanced Topics – Leadership include:

  • Discipling Children and Youth
  • Teaching Skills/Outcomes Based Ministry
  • Children, Youth and Teens at Risk
Level 4
Next Gen Advanced Topics - Biblical Foundations

Next Gen Advanced Topics – Biblical Foundations include:

  • Contemporary Public Theology
  • Ministry Practicum

Upon successful completion of Level 4 with the 4/14 Academy:

  • A 4/14 Academy representative reviews all 4/14 Academy work, certifies completion, and produces a 4/14 Academy Certificate of Completion for submission to LCC-VS (depending on the student’s prior degree).
  • The learner submits their 4/14 Academy Certificate of Completion to LCC-VS.
  • RaGLA reviews the 4/14 Academy Certificate of Completion and the learner’s academic transcripts.
  • RaGLA grants seventy-seven* occupational credits.
